    Hello can anyone help .

This is a request on behalf of a friend.

He's just put a 14 tooth sprocket on the front of his Cagiva Raptor
    (instead of the 16 tooth ) .

Now his speedo is out of whack. He tells me it has a hall efect type of
sensor on the front shaft to detect the speed.

If this is the case surely there's some electronic adjustment that can
be made to calibrate the speedo correctly.

    Thanks

There probably is, but it is easier and cheaper to fit a pushie trip
    computer and calibrate it accurately.

What you want is called yellowbox or similar. Apparently you just plug it in
and calibrate away. Also check out http://www.bike-gizmos.com I think
they're based in Melbourne. They make electronic gadgets for bikes.. They
    might have something.
