Calling the Tyre Pluggers!

  1. Tosspot formulated on Sunday :
These kits - no, but they are not much different to those I have used
on car tyres. It very easy to do, much easier than a push bike inner
tube repair. Pull out the nail, screw etc., clean the hole out, fit the
plug to the inserter tool, dunk in the sealer, push in and allow to
    set.

My guess is that it's not about the plug but the damage to the cords
in the tyre could cause failure at the speeds notionally supported by
    the Z rating

  8. I wasn't being critical of your behindedness when it comes to the
spreading of useful technology. I am sure your artisans could be
rapidly acquainted with the inflated offerings of Messrs Dunlop and
rivals. I was passing comment based, in part, on first hand experience
that Devon, in the main, is closed on a Monday.

Pray tell. When was this experience gained? Half day Wednesdays in some
village shops still but everywhere else seems to be no different than in the
big places I sometimes visit as a special treat.
