Troglodytes in glass houses really shouldn't throw bones.

Get rid of the TS250, it's dragging your .sig down. I might know someone...

Just a guess, but some 'save the planet' types use water from a butt
for dish washers, that water having drained from the roof. Still quite
an impressive leap of logic, but I can't think where else she'd get the
    idea from.

  5. But that's just common sense.

  6. Err, no. Water from the roof contains all sorts of nasties - you'd be
right in using it for filling loos, etc.
Probably saw the drain hose and thought it was the filler. This might
    have happened when a child.

  7. At least it's not fucking SWMBO.
Sometimes it's like a convention of Rumpole-alikes, on usenet.

    I know, I know...
Washing machines she understood. When I explained that a dishwasher
was plumbed in exactly like a washing machine, light dawned.

Obviously these women are very clever and I apologise for even thinking
    otherwise.

I wouldn't give them a job of throwing any bones out of my cave though.

I don't remember thinking a dishwasher uses drain water or that an oil
tanker could travel anywhere but on the water. All the defensive blather is
    just that. Blather.
