Can be used in evidence against me?

I took my Garmin Streetpilot 2610 out for a spin today after fitting
it to the Bandit. It saves a track log which looks something like
this when downloaded from the unit
    <http://www.bgn.me.uk/tracklog2.jpg>

What's more interesting is this more detailed look, and the 'Leg
    speed' <http://www.bgn.me.uk/tracklog.jpg>

If I were ever to be pulled for going 186km/h (115mph) then could this
kind of track log be used in evidence against me, do you think?

    I very much doubt it.

Either that or the 380+ mph that my Garmin Quest logged when in the
Gypmobile on a B-road could get me in a custodial sentence.

I have 526 mph logged on mine. 'Course I was at 35,000 feet on an Airbus at
    the time...

It wasn't the 'top speed' I was thinking about.

It was the exact time, coordinates, direction, altitude, speed that
was logged every few seconds which is easily plottable on a map.

Anyway, as peeps say, shouldn't be an issue.

I like to think of it as being a great demonstration of why it'll most
likely not be admissible as evidence

What about those numb fuckers who post video's of their antics when out
riding/driving showing the speedo in the upper reaches.

Quite a few have been tracked down and prosecuted on that evidence.
Whatever, I don't think I'd trust to luck.

If you look at the speed on the tracklog I just used that as an
    example.

186 is the speed limit, if you choose the right units.

    For speeding, NO.
For other crimes, YES (position and time).

    opinion up, naturally.
