The worst part of the job was searching through numerous toolboxes in
my van for some circlip pliers.
Get rid of the girls bike and buy a 10R?

Getting the airbox out of a carb Tiger is mine, closely followed by
changing fork oil (it's the stench that does it - makes me heave).

Depends on the bike really. The unfaired B12 was an absolute breeze.

AOL bruvver. Taking exhaust systems, carbs, drive chain and wiring out
    isn't any fun at all.

On the K11 it is a bit of a job. Only as there is so much to move out of
the way. About 1/2 a day, unless:

    Remove front wheel.
On centrestand, rear shock disconnected (lower mount), back pushed right
    down (jack under engine).
Disconnect the front brake hydraulics at the MC, I had a couple of plugs
which meant I didn't loose fluid and only got a small amount of air in.
Loosen handlebar clamps and push forward.
    Remove top nut
Drop the entire fork/mudguard/bottom yoke assembly and move out
Punch out or dremmel old races, drift in the new.

Now it depends on how lucky you are with the race on the lower yoke,
    some remove/replace easily, some don't.

2 hour job if you're lucky. 3 if you're not.

Nicely done. But don't think it had escaped the notice of those of us
    too lazy to comment.

The night before I took my VF400F, with then burd and full camping kit,
to St Tropez my mate Gus said he'd help me do a full service including
valve clearances. We started at 6pm, we finished at 4am. I was at work
the next morning at 7-30 and set off for Dover at 6pm. To say I was
fucking knackered when we got to St Tropez after riding down through the
night is an understatement. We were only there for a long weekend too.

I want to do this sort of thing again. I'm planning a motorcycle mounted

    when I do.
