I can go and get another tyre fitted on Monday morning if thats any help.
Guaranteed to piss down for 2 days afterwards at least.

 

It would appear someone did so much earlier, as it's been pissing down
in Bristol for most of the afternoon.

 

Bring it on - I've got my sister's car for the next two weeks so
if ever there were a time to rain, this is it.

 

I haven't seen a drop for a week.

I do hope the weather's not waiting for me, over the next few days.

I've got a funeral to go to on Tuesday in Wales. Not only is it bad
enough having to go there, but sod's law says it will be pissing down
the whole time as well.

I don't plan on staying long TBH, but if it isn't too far out of the
way, a drink or two would go down ok.

 

Well, you'd be passing close to my area on the way back, but I'm working
on Tuesday, off on Weds.

 

The last time I went there (Usk), it was gloriously sunny and bloody
hot. I just didn't fancy a 200 odd mile ride to go to a funeral that
will probably last less than half an hour, only to turn round and go
home again.

 

Stop off at mine, do the beer and curry thing, ride home the next day.

 

Nah, maybe next time. Thanks for the offer, though.

It's going to cost me a small fortune to take Tuesday off. I've also got
to finish early tomorrow to buy suitable clothing and will probably have
to take some of Wednesday morning as well, so all in all, a bit of an
expensive venture.

I have a feeling if I took all of Wednesday so we could meet up, it
could lead to me writing the whole week off

 

That doesn't sound too bad, actually.

torrential rain with thunder and lightning.

It is _pissing_ down here, with rumbles of thunder every five minutes.

AS far as I can tell we had about 20 mins of rain here, it's still warm,
and way too humid..

Now to take the bike in for it's Major service, in shorts and a T-shirt
I think.. it's a 2 mile walk home.

 

Once you're wet, you're wet. The worst bit is getting wet, IYKWIM.
