Tundra over massive amounts of oil does count, plenty. You pay!

  4. And most of those scientists then went to NASA to enable the Mercury, Gemini

That oil no more belongs to the French than the North Sea oil belongs
to the jocks. Learn to come to terms with it and you'll be a happier
    person.

  8. Yup, a Grand Wizard.

Case proven and exactly as I thought. Shows precisely the level of erudition
and education you'd expect from an Alabammy swamp boy.

  12. You know, it's really no fun making ripostes to someone like p.jm when the
result is so predictable. But I guess when you deal with a KKK member with
an IQ lower than their shoe size, that's what you get.

    Dubya, perchance?

Hey, don't bring George into this! Many people don't
realize it, but Bush is well spoken and has quite
    a lovely singing voice:

  15. Might cost more to get the oil out than it's worth, even at sky-high
    prices per barrel.

Must be why those big oil companies are spending billions up there
    extracting and selling the stuff.

I wonder why they are not as smart as you and can't see the folly of
    their ways.

A couple of Canadians were sitting in an American bar talking about
    American attitudes towards Canucks.

The first Canadian was telling the other how Americans hated them.
The second said, "Surely not. Wait here and I'll ask the men at that
table over there what they think."

He walked over to the table and asked the men. One big burly guy got
up and flipped the bird right in the Canadians face.

The Canadian man smiled and walked back to the bar.

"Well" the fist Canadian assked, "what does he think of us?"

"We're still number one with him" he replied.

Old joke - heard it in reference to Poland the first time. Hope you
    enjoy.

Time? Oh yeah the "I am right and those oil companies investing
literally billions of dollars up there are all wrong and in time they
    will realize their mistake" defense.

While we are waiting for them to be proven wrong are you still wanting
all the oil they are extracting from those tar sands? Just imagine
what would happen to the price of gasoline in the US if 20% of your
    oil was suddenly not available.

By the way Boy Wonder, extracting oil from the tar sands starts making
economic sense with the world oil price in the $30.00 a barrel range.
Are you seriously predicting oil to be worth less than that in your
    lifetime?
