Anyone heard of a "blanket run" being organised in the Canberra region
when is it
where is it leaving from
where does it go through?
that sort of stuff

 

Yep, here you go, George:

BLANKET RUN - Saturday 10th of May - form up at Old Parliament House
0930 for a 10:00 start (note hot Coffee will be there hopefully from
0900) bring donations of warm clothing, blankets, MONEY , or non-
perishable food. So join over 500 other like minded people for the
run.

I unfortunately deleted an earlier email about it, but I believe it
goes from OPH to Garema Place, via the big roundabout at Woden.

Note that several celebrations of the opening of the New Parliament
House are on at the same time - don't expect to be able to park a cage
anywhere near OPH.
