I went to his live show at the beginning of Feb and wasn't too
impressed quite frankly. Admittedly it was a 'best of' show so I'd
seen most of the material before but it did seem a bit tired.

 

Has he bollox. He's still using material from 10 years ago.

 

Someone commented recently that he had improved slightly, I was agreeing.
Last time I saw him it made me cringe. Two jokes tonight made me laugh.

 

I find him a bit boring now, ten years ago he was funny.

No, don't know that.
I lost all respect for him when I saw him and his SWMBO at Euston
station heading for the second class section of the Birmingham train.
(And when he recklessly misquoted Shakespeare in his stage show.)

 

He uses public transport, has no money and lives in the West Midlands.
He should be admired.

 

He's got pots of money, hasn't he? He has a part of the franchise to
"Who wants to be a millionaire", I think. And if not, I reckon he
could get a loan from his daughter.

 

He seems to make the rich list every year too. He's worth in excess of 50
million iirc.

I admit, that was funny the first time he did it. 20 years ago.

It's not supposed to be new.
