    Is on Monday.

Cassingon is a small village just off the A40 between Eynsham and
    Oxford.
The place gets invaded by bikes of all sorts, but particularly SOBB's.

Good beer tent, usually a very good turnout.

Be there or, erm, well, be somewhere else...

Wasn't it just. I wish all the Harley riders would just **** off &
stick to their own gatherings though. Couldn't hear meself think most
of the time with those cunts constantly riding up & down making that
    godawful noise.

    well?

IME, weight makes a huge difference when a bunch of incompetents go
karting from work, and so it's usually the chicks that win.

    [snip]

I've only done karting 2 or 3 times, and was utterly crap at it,
because I couldn't bring myself to lift off enough round corners, and
so kept spinning off into the tyres.

Having said that, I rocked at karting compared to how shit I was at
    minimoto.

    Mea Culpa
Heh, I came across a small tribe of Harleys on the way home.
Having cut in front of the hi vis "Road Captain" **** at the lights at
M40 J9 I then proceeded to show them how a vee twin should accelerate.

The Ducati has an enormous grin factor I have discovered.

I understand competely in theory. I just don't have the right mindset
    to do it.
there's something about the geometry of my hips/knees/ankles that
simply prevents me from being able to put my feet flat-down on the
side of the peg-hangers the way you need to to properly ride a
minimoto. So I'm in a constant state of discomfort/pain and of course
this distracts from actually trying the ride the things. It is funny
to crash/fall off a two-wheeler and only fall 10cm onto the floor,
    mind.

Geometry my arse. Your legs are just too stumpy to reach the pegs on a
    minimoto.

heh. I actually have relatively long legs for my height (170/80cm),
which is why I can cope with riding a 'motard despite technically
    being a shortarse.

Have you ever tried to ride a minimoto? You need to put your feet flat
on the side of the peg hangers, not on the pegs themselves i.e. your
feet are rolled 90 degrees from the plane you'd have them on a proper
bike. For me, it's an uncomfortable position.
