Dale, I'm truly sorry to have heard the news.. our thoughts are with
yourself and Wills, and her sisters and your families.

I'd only met Cat and yourself a few times, but you guys were kind
enough to let me tag along with Boky and stay at your place on the way
to PI a couple of times last year. The first time I came back into
IRC after Boky's crash, Cat immediately made it clear that I was
always welcome to stay there again, and it really meant a lot to me.

We caught up a bit on Friday in Sydney, it was great to see her again.
I don't ever remember seeing Cat without that mischievous, infectious
grin of hers. Her absence will be sorely felt by many..

i had been to 3 funerals in my life and so far in 2006 there is another 3 to
add to the list

it just doesnt seem real at all

I went to Bokys funeral and didnt plan on going to the memorial in sydney
but went along for some drinks with some friends but especially made the
effort
to go to catch up with Cat since last i saw her was at GP

one of the last things she said was you are always welcome at our place
and was looking forward to catching up at Supers

Maddys funeral monday and then tuesday this news , i just could not believe
it when Tim told me

3 close friends of mine , all fantastic people all gone in 3 weeks

condolences is just one word but cant think of anything that can possibly
help you in your time of grief

 

Anyone riding down from Sydney that needs an overnight stop, sure I
can find space here and shed for a few bikes.

Only 30-40 mins tops from here to tassie ferry.
I'm also not far from Slej's joint here.

Not knowing Dale or Cat, I thought since it was in tassie paper they
were in Tassie.

Offer still stands for a few people needing somewhere to stay
overnight.

 

I cant believe this, Cat was one of the kindest peoples ive met and was
always their to help others, she was one of those people I thought was just
too good for this to happen to.

Although I never met her in person I have spoken to her online for a few
years and consider her a friend and will be sadly missed.

My condolences to Panther/Dale, Will and the rest of the family.

I think we all will miss her so, if their is anything we can do just ask.

They are is Tassie, the funeral will also be held somewhere in Tassie.

Slej's place, and about 40mins from Ferry or 60mins to airport.

I'm so sorry Dale.

It still hasn't registered. I keep thinking that only yesterday I was
speaking to her and last Friday night we were hugging and crying on
each others shoulders. I can't think of a more loving, kind, happy and
positive person. She will be sorely missed.

Yesterday morning I told her that my thoughts would be with her and her
family over the next couple of days. Now they are with you and Wills
and both yours and Cat's families.

Rest in peace Cat, the world is a poorer place for your passing, i
would dearly love to go to the funeral, but im starting a new job and
funds are also too tight :-\. Let us know when you've figured which
way is up & i'll light a candle for her.

Dale, if/when you next come up to Sydney let me know, i'd love to see
you again, i dont think i've seen you in a couple of years or so, it's
been too long mate.

She was a lot of peoples' big sister. This has left a big hole in a lot
of peoples' hearts.
The memory that seems to be playing in my head is the Firestorm ride I
went on with her where she did most of a damp and leaf littered Reefton
Spur with a bad leg (I think her knee had popped during the rude).
Dale, our prayers are with you and everyone there. You're a stronger
man than I but if you need anything please don't hesistate to ask.
