My god, Dale, I'm so sorry. And not just because Cat was the only one of us who could organize a pissup in a brewery. Wish there was something useful I could say. -----sharks

To Dale, Wills, and both yours and Cat's families, please accept my deepest condolences. Cat was the first person I met from ausmoto and the most staunch and caring friend. I will miss her terribly. We were supposed to catch up after she and Dale got back from this holiday. Dale - my heart goes out to you. If there is any small thing we can do to help, please do not hesitate to let us know. Charlie aka Gina
**** it....sitting here remembering is a hard thing to do, but I am gonna do it because we all have memories of Cat and Dale that we want to hold onto. Just knowing them both has made a difference in my life and knowing that Cat is gone from our lives has suddenly made all the small things seem so unimportant. condolences to both Cat and Dales' families Love and Respect Unclescum
Thanks Tony & Vivienne, it's a bit hard to explain the community that is aus.motorcycles but Jeanette and Dale (and Wil) formed part of the core around which the a lot of us orbitted. Although some of us live two, three or four thousand kilometers away we're in constant communication so even though we only met two or three times a year (or less) we're all quite good friends (and that just made the all-too-rare meetings all the more enjoyable!). Jeanette and Dale were especially accomodating for we out-of-towners when we'd make the pilgrammage to Victoria for the Phillip Island races and they organised dinners and accomodation as well as acting as a freight-depot when we needed to send stuff on ahead. I (and my daughter who saw Cat as the big sister who would sneak her drinks and plead her case to stay up just-one-more-hour, Dad....) will very much miss Jeanette but we know that'll only be a miniscule fraction of how much Wil, Dale, her family and you will miss her. Condolences.
Tim; you've turned me homo 'cause I teared-up when I read this. I know that you and Cat were very close. Good words big feller.
What are we gonna' do at Phillip Island without Cat to get us pissed and then Boky to take photos of us getting pissed!! (and then Cat to take photos of Boky pissed!!)
Leon lamented that he won't be able to come to the campground anymore because he needs Cat to erect his tent for him!!
Un Fucking Believable. When is this going to end ffs. I only ever chatted to Cat on IRC. So sorry for your loss Dale I know the feeling mate. Those of us at Boky's scene still see the images. Some of them are fading but others are still very vivid, and I suspect will always be so.
As per the earlier message, Dale, I've been struggling all day to come up with something to say. The young bloke said to me this arvo, "It certainly is a tragedy that Cat died so young." Although he'd only met her the once, at last years GP, she definitely struck a chord. I think that pretty much sums her up. I know we'll all miss her big, mischievous grin but the memories will be long and happy. Our sincerest condolences to yourself, Wills, Tony and Viv, and everyone else concerned from myself, Blake and Natasha.
Hear hear I didn't Know Cat (or Bocky or Maddy) but the feelings generated by the words from those on this list make me wish I had. My sincere condolences to all friends & family. Bummers
Dale, not sure what to say. words aren't what's needed now. Here's a huge *HUG* from me, Sibs & the boys.... My first & lasting memory of Jeanette (I knew she hated me calling her that so I did ) Was walking across the swingbridge at catoract (sp) gorge turning to Sibs and saying yeah with people like this around we have to come and live in Oz.....That was oh, 1999 on our honeymoon and we'll be eternally grateful for her spirit & enthusiasm in showing us around. On a personal note to me her serving CSC's was as close to heaven as I'll ever make it. Cat we are blessed to have known such a spirited person, thankyou for allowing us in to your life.Thankyou Dale for sharing her with us all. Dale if you need anything mate contact me. Our hopes & wishes are with you & Wills. MarkGee and brood as though the 75 year old man was sufferring a heart onramp of the freeway, so that he was headed in the wrong for the other).
