I used to have a blackbird but due to back problems had to change it
    for a more 'sit-up' bike. So I now have a CB1300. It's great handling
etc., but it doesn't have the grunt of the blackbird by quite alot. It
also needs another gear. So has anyone tried getting more performance
out of a CB1300, e.g. anyone tried the Power Commander or anything
    else ?

Do you reckon there's a marketing niche waiting for some silly bugger
    to invent lightweight driled-for-lightness pies?

Not sure I'm following things too well, but the bottom line is that
the CB1300 has a lot less BHP than the blackbird, so would like to
know if anyone has 'tweaked' a CB1300 ?

As for the weight bit... same as I was on blackbird !
