CG 125 Bits anyone?

  1. So they have delivered the bike back to here.

    Pictures later[1]

My forensic examination of it suggests: On the face of it looks like it
has stood outside but reasonably sheltered (light rusting on a small
segment of the wheel rims and stuff) for a couple of years. I don't
remember the mileage but it only shows 7.5k now so it hasn't been ridden
far. Tyres are ok, chain guard still in place and stuff like that.

From the nearside: missing mirrors and ignition lock and a smashed
headlight housing are the only real evidence of the theft some two years
ago and were it not for more recently made dents would be about the
    whole extent of it.

From the offside: There are scratches on the can and dents so new that
the metal/oxide beneath has get to discolour. This suggests either
damage at the time of arrest or during the time it was in police
custody.[2] The tank has a big enough dent that it may need renewing.
Everything else looks like all it needs is a bit of TLC.

So, barring nothing more substantial turning up on a closer inspection,
the list looks like mirrors, bars, tank, headlight housing, steering
    lock and some consumables.

If anybody happens to have any bits I am sure My Baby would show due
appreciation for low prices. She is an Essex Girl don't forget.

Evidence is still to come in but I find it hard to draw any sort of
conclusion as to the travels this little bike has had in the last couple
of years. I think the question that needs answering first is did it go
straight to Herts from Southend or has that move been recent? Questions
will be asked of plod just as soon as the bastards can be found in their
    office[3].

[1] When the cunts broke into my house and stole my handycam they also
took my only camera memory stick and I can't be arsed to faff around
taking stills out of a movie so you will probably get the movie so do
your bandwidth pikey fucking complaining now.

[2] I am hoping from a substantial impact with the scrote but it looks
more like it was dropped onto a kerb or something.

[3] Herts plod are not being at all fucking helpful at all and it
would be so easy for the reverse to be true and considerably less time
    consuming for them.

Excellent, a square one if you can please sir.

She is actually quite enthused about putting it back on the road and
regaining the mobility she previously enjoyed.

Although, she is talking in terms of it being not big enough and making
plans for something with another cylinder and a decent power to weight
ratio, like a 400. And yes I have warned her that they are all grey
imports and she should seek wisdom before purchasing.

Her first priority though is to get herself mobile again which is going
to cost an arm and a leg but she does have some no claims and is now
    over 21, which is nice.

Sorry, it's a round one, it's the one that was on your old Bandit.

    They fit do they?

    Hmmm.

I dunno, the concerned parent in me is saying that a cooking 500 would
be a touch better than a sporty 400 but the hooligan told her to price
up the costs of running a Gixxer Thou.
