  2. That is indeed Holy. In fact, it's wonderful.

"I have regularly used the bike to commute and a touring holiday of
    Ireland"

somehow seems perfectly in tune with the silliness of it.

    Four figures, easy.

  4. Looks like he's done a smashing job of it. Very clean.
When matie and me did the Moors and Dales in 2008 we met this old boy
at our hostel with a Super Cub who'd been round the UK and Ireland
several times on it. That, and the Top Gear Vietnam special makes me
really want to do some underpowered back-lane touring. Going round
Europe, or ideally SE Asia or South America on something ridiculous
like a CG 125 (MSOHPR), would be great.

I'll bet it wheelies quite easily despite the 125cc engine.

Even with a 50 the front'll be a bit hard to tame. Teeny things
are outrageous fun. I have fond memories of working as scooterman
    in London.

The recommissioning of the Z200 continues albeit slowly. I see long-
    distance bimbles in the future.

The search is starting... could be a C90, CG125, GN250, or whatever.
    Budget: well under 500 (hopefully)...

  11. An extended version of that Frankfurt Run could be most enjoyable.

If such a thing comes to fruition, count me in provisionally.

I'd be up for something like that on my TW200

There were noises, a while back, about an Afrika run...

For me, charging along at full throttle for 10 hours a day would just
spoil it - that's a bloody endurance test. 2 (or maybe 3, in extremis)
hours each side of lunch, is more like it. 200 miles a day (not a
target), sur le continent would be plenty - as long as there is time
to enjoy the surroundings, rather than worrying about reaching a
target, or the next fuel stop.

The point of choosing a small bike is to slow down and enjoy, rather
than cover distance, which is what the bigger stuff is for, no?

Is that the pisshead rescue setup?

No. Planes are for covering distance, big bikes are for enjoying
yourself at any speed (with the possible side effect of covering
distance), small bikes are for poofs[1].

    [1] Except trailbikes.

  19. Ditto. I'd take the GN250.

I hope you'll either get this one home or burn it rather than let the
    Germans have it?
