I bumped into David Taylor at Infosec (and I'll see him again on
Monday). He thinks you're a bit mad for going round on a ZX10, not
something he'd consider but he's definitely doing the Manx again this
year.

I'll point him at your blog if I get chance.

 

An opinion I've heard from others

But that's what practice week is for - getting the bike working and
doing what you want, especially over the bumps.

Heh. But there's a big difference between simply asking for money and
claiming to be doing so in the name of charidee.

It is just for charities. Not only that, but according to the Ts&Cs
"Every charity or organisation featured has a contractual agreement
with JG authorising JG to collect donations and reclaim Gift Aid on
its behalf under the UK government's Gift Aid scheme."

But I don't see why I couldn't accept stuff through PayPal. It still
feels a bit weird, but hey, no harm done. Apart from people thinking
I'm a bit of a ****, and that ship sailed long ago I fear.

If I had enough money spare to be going over there, or to be considering
bunging Champ some, I'd be spending it on a track bike so it wouldn't be
