  2. I prefer the ZongShen, but not sure when the 600/4 & 1000/4 will be out.

China is the largest motorcycle manufacturers on the planet, but most are
    the moped/scooter thingos

  3. Presently, more than 100 domestic manufacturers copy models from foreign
companies, such as Honda of Japan - one of the world's motorcycle giants.

"To develop their own new technology and products has become a very urgent
task for domestic manufacturers to export more products," Bai said during
the ongoing 2001 Beijing International Motorcycle Exposition.

Du Fangci, an official from the China Association of Automobile
Manufacturers, said yesterday independent development should be on top of
    the motorcycle industry's agenda.

Domestic manufacturers still lag far behind foreign competitors in the
development ability, although China has become the world's largest
    motorcycle producer.

******China produced more than 11.5 million motorcycles last year, nearly
half of the world's total output****

    And rising.............

Shove that up ya arse chris

  5. Used to be a guy in Vic importing them as reconditioned old bikes as they
don't pass current regs. You got a new bike in a 25yo frame essentially,
also sidedcars are fitted on the wrong side. Not easy to register. I
remember their ad "this is a chinese copy of a 1938 model motorcycle, AND
    it rides like one".

I'm sure they have been sold in NZ with sidecars on the left side.
There was one for sale recently here but it was a 1957 model.
    I want a 1937 one if poss.

AND you have to maintain it like one. Full engine overhauls every 10.000km, if
    they make it that far.

I know someone who has one.
