Do I see another jibe at the British? God no, it can't fucking be, not with
    Des doing the jibing.

I believe that the last one was when we were talking about defensive
violence. Israel wasn't even mentioned, until someone (I think it was
'Thomas') who started going on about the Fakestinians. Then there was Cab,
Blaney, TOG, Ace ... the list of those who retort with a jibe at Israel in
a thread where neither I nor anyone else has mentioned it, is long.
You appear to be quite slow on the uptake. It should be evident to anyone
with an IQ in double figures that I do not give a flying **** whether
    anyone reads my posts.

    It was actually compassion.

Happy to have cleared things up for you.

Isn't that convenient? None of us here will be around to see for sure
whether you're right or wrong, even you.

Or maybe you will be, because you're so smart and insightful that someone
will be sure to preserve you for posterity before hoiking your carcass off
to a museum and sticking it in glass case with the legend. "A past
    inhabitant of Desneyland Israel/France/Gt Britain"

Yersss, but wealth can be increased without a proportional increase in
physical material use. IP and software, to suggest a couple of
    examples.

I'm sure physical resource use is increasing and will reach a limit,
though. This might force us to develop a less expansive society, or
we'll be pressured into expanding in other ways.
You sound rather as though you relish the thought.
