Really, what kind of anorak goes to those lengths? In nearly 30 years of riding I've had one puncture, and I didn't notice that until the next morning. The bike (ZX-9R) didn't fall over either.
Lord knows. Letting them down to check? E's aving a larf, innit? -- _______ ..'_/_|_\_'. Ace (brucedotrogers a.t rochedotcom) \`\ | /`/ GSX-R1000K3 (slightly broken, currently missing) `\\ | //' BOTAFOT#3, SbS#2, UKRMMA#13, DFV#8, SKA#2, IBB#10 `\|/` `
May I point out that I was quoting the sage Andy Woodward rather than suggesting myself that you have a bris on your new bike's eighth day. On the other hand it would only take a moment to hold the bike upright while the sidestand is down, compare the height of the stand to that of the rims and do a bit of 3-D geometry to see what would happen if you got a flat or two.
You may. Loz's quote lost that. In all the years I've been riding bikes, I've never done so. Oddly enough, I've always expected that sort of thing to be done by the manufacturer before they built it. And I've been proved right over and over again. -- _______ ..'_/_|_\_'.
