Just in case it decides to rain when I go to Silverstone, whats a good
CHEAP waterproof jacket and troos combo that can be worn over leathers
that will keep me dry for a 3 hour hack?

If you want cheap then go to your local farmer's shop and buy a 2 piece
suit from them. 2 piece is much easier to get on bu the farmer's suit won't
be as easy as a more expensive suit designed for motorcyclists, as it won't
have leg zips to make putting it on over boots easier. Probably cost a
tenner and be in a very fetching shade of yellow or orange.

Pay another fiver and you can get a cheapie from M&P in black. £30 gets you
one that will work for more than one summer.

  3. It will.
Cheap and 3 hours? Surely that's oxymoronic?

Really depends what you call cheap, but I got a one-piece suit from HG
for about 40 quid a few years back and it's never failed me.

Last time I wore it was while sitting in the grandstand at Donington -
got a bit sweaty but was otherwise dry.

You'll look like Banana Man, but be snug and dry.

There's some folks flogging Triumph 2-piece waterproofs on ebay for
    sensible money.

Or do you mean less than a fiver?
