    i'll bite!
    Yr 2000
    2 owners (1st to 4000miles) me for the rest
    18k miles
    1/5 ltr bottle of oil every 3000 (approx)
    all cylinders ;-)
    it slips sometimes
    Red
    needs new chain and sprockets IMHO and a bloody good service.
    oh and I love the 208's so ner ner ne ner ner

    "Do not attempt to suck, bite, swallow or chew any part of this
    motorcycle"

    It was a self-defeating warning. Well, when you're faced with a
    statement like that you've got to wonder why, haven't you?

  8. The handbook for the original RD350LC contained a warning not to drink
    the battery acid. Better still, it then devoted a page to the concoction
    you should mix up (milk figured in it, I recall) should you actually
    disregard the warning.

    Laverda's triples - the RGS series - used to have a warning in their
    handbooks: "Never crary an animal on this motorcycle".
