I don't watch ITV News very often but happened to have it on earlier.

It appears they don't like Piers Morgan[1]

At the end of the report about PM's new show on CNN the reporter said
something like, "success in this show would keep PM in the USA for most of
the year, which would be win-win for everyone."

[1] and having a story about this **** probably explains why I don't watch
    it very often.

I sometimes watch it to wonder how filthy Julie Etchingham might be
after a couple of Baccardi Breezers.YMMV.

Surely he's just a journalist that saw an opportunity to make money
and let that overcome his ability to make rational decisions? Not so
different to any other journalist as far as I can make out...

I had to google to see who she is so she but at least that threw out a
couple of new sites including wankable celebrities. Isn't the internet

I did notice that ITV Wales have a half decent weatherman. Although,
flicking channels found the beeb have Matt Taylor on duty, who gets the
    juices flowing.

****, we must be getting old if newsreaders and/or weather people induce
lustful thinking. JE is 41, MT is 34.

PM is dull and definitely wore too much make up. the ad definitely got
the thumbs down from the folks sat around me so I cant see it lasting

A journalist directly responsible for getting British soldiers killed in
Iraq due to his printing of faked photos depicting prisoner abuse.

    not all bad, then.

I do recall a round of "definitions" on R4, where Steven Fry defined
the word "countryside" as "killing Piers Morgan".

Did you watch QI last week? Fry came up with some laughable explanation
of how GPS receivers work, followed by some inspired (but very wrong)
description of packets whizzing across the internet.

Made me wonder how much of the rest of the programme is bullshit.

Pretty much. He allowed the publication of the photos in the Sun when he
was editor. Those photos were seen in Iraq a day later and caused a riot
in, I think, Basra. During that riot, British troops were ambushed and
    some died.

  19. I can't stand the ****, myself, regardless of his opportunistic trading
on his novelty value English/Britishness in America. Thankfully, he's
devoid of any redeeming features that might make his dreadful programme
anything more than a transient winner.
