No hand holding, but you could follow me and then be awarded a slower
than ginge number when eventually you arrive, a week late.

I would really like to go, but:

    a) My most suitable bike (the Morini) has been sacrificed at the altar
of the Forgotten Error hill climb project.

    b) I will probably be going out to France that weekend.

    c) I quite fancy riding my second most suitable bike (a GFR) at the
Trofeo Rosso which is on the same weekend.

Ah, the scales fall from my eyes
Another feed line wasted. One of my better ones too :)

Unfortunately, the last couple of kilometres of that route follow the
circuit[0]. And this year they're (allegedly) using the "original"
circuit[1], so a serious bit of detouring could be in order.

If it's anything like my old one you'd never get there, let alone back.

Unlikely, unless it's in the wee small hours when other objectionable
    cnuts take over.

UKRM at that stage are already trying to get their beauty sleep.

lol. Nice. Try multimap. They do France/Belgium

You could always meet me at the port and ride in, but since this is
not a TOG tour, with all ferry tickets prebooked on the same boat it's
highly unlikely we'll see each other before either the hotel or the
    circuit.

Looks like going in via Froidchappelle au coq is the best bet.

Heh, that reminds me of Chernobyl. The French government said that the
radioactive cloud wouldn't come into France.

    Couldn't get a passport, I guess.

I see you stand like greyhounds in the slip,
    The games a-foot,
Lift up your spirits and upon this charge cry
"God for Harry, England and Saint TOG!"

    We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
    This day shall gentle his condition;
    And gentlemen in England now-a-bed
Shall think themselves accurs'd they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day.

    LOL!
That doesn't surprise me at all.
I was in Exeter's Household for a bit too.

I spent 20-odd years re-enacting all sorts of stuff from the Wars of
    the Roses to Railway Navvies.

    This might interest you:

    http://www.who.int/entity/ionizing_radiation/chernobyl/chernobyl_dige
    st_report_EN.pdf

In summary, 28 people died from acute radiation syndrome in 1986, and
increased cancer mortality due to radiation exposure may eventually reach
4000. I cba to look for figures specific to Ukraine or animals in there,
    but you might find them.

  20. Imo, it's still too soon to draw conclusions like that.
If you buy that line, you're swallowing the nuke lobby's gropapanda.
