Looks like it's £80 a night there now anyhow.

I'm probably going but haven't worked things out yet, I'm thinking I
might go over on the Friday night leaving blighty around 10PM, in
which case I'll slum it at the el cheapo hotel across the car park
because it won't be worth bothering with beers frog-side.

Email TOG because he knows of a reasonable place a few miles out of
Calais. We'll just rock up and drink beer in Calais as per normal.

 

Yeah, admittedly I did spend 4 days mostly asleep with flu.

Will do. To be fair even a Formula 1 would do the job, as I'll be
likely to arrive around midnight and won't be looking for an evening
meal.

 

Well, I might have been, but I've just read in Bike magazine about the
classic meet at Spa on 20/21 June.

Excellent weekend, granted, but not much in the way of actual racing.
And it's Spa, so it always rains - it did last year.
