eh? It's only 65 euros.
It must be Bear frogging TOG!
http://www.ibishotel.com/gb/hotel-3300-ibis-calais-coquelles-tunnel/index.shtml stick in 16/07, then select "one person", and there's a "summer room rate" (or somesuch) for 65 euros.
"A technical problem has occurred on our site. Please try again. If the problem persists, send us a message using Contact form." Fucksticks. French shite.
Heh. I emailed my testing bod last night saying exactly that. -- Krusty '03 Tiger 955i '02 MV Senna (for sale) '96 Tiger (for sale) '79 Fantic Hiro 250 (for sale) '81 Corvette (for sale)
What a fucking load of wank. It starts by offering the room for 49 euros, accept and it goer to 65, accept that by hitting the 'continue' button and there's nowhere on the next fucking page to book the fucking thing.
FRO you are another early riser on the Continent. At home too, but then you waste 2 hours losing your keys.
Well I just got it for ?66 which is £57.61 for a twin room. I've stayed here before and it seems a perfectly good rate. Incidentally the town of Calais is not such a bad place!
hotels.co.uk lists it at 64 quid for the room, plus you can get cashback on Quidco. Haven't tried to book it, though. I can always roll out the spare futon in case a UKRMer needs some crash space on the way to the tunnel...
Nope. I'm now wondering if I should take a half day on the thurs and actually make it to the bar for a relaxing evening, rather than trecking down late at night.
<fx: paranoid> we are talking about the Ibis Coquelles Eurotunnel place? I've booked it now at 65.50 euros ('cos even though I don't have a bike to go on, it's no-charge to cancel if I have to)
Seems all the 49 Euro Flex- rooms have gone. Flex+ as you booked only available now. For the cheapskates, the Etap next door still has Flex- rooms available for £36 - no cancellations or refunds on this rate. Go via the parent site to get all the options http://www.accorhotels.com/ and put Coquelles in the search box
