it's not a question of speed, it's a question of comfort. The KTM does
    not offer either.

TBH, I'd rather borrow Andy's 10R, as I know he'd be a lot less fazed
[1] if I broke it than you would be if I wrecked your bike.

It's actually pretty amazing that I'm more scared of you than Andy :)

But still, hopefully I'll have the 12R in time.

[1] did you see what I did there?

Andy's bikes tend to come pre-disastered.

it doesn't bother me if its wrecked as the FZ is easier to replace
than the 10R. I've had it 10 weeks or so and was going to say I
haven't cleaned it yet but I think Ogden shamed me into doing it the
    second week I bought it.
LOL. I'm a pussy cat. I've seen Andy angry [1] and it isn't pretty.
    worse than normal anyhow

[1] not that you wrecking the 10R would make him angry.

I think you've got me sussed. It's a bike and though I want to keep it
I'm not going to go all Michael Douglas on your arse if shit happens.
The offer's there if you need it so don't stay at home when you don't
    have to.
    Poor.

That's why dealers have showrooms full of replacements.

    heh.

I'm 99% definitely going, whether on a borrowed bike or my own. My new
insurance does cover 3rd-party CIHAGM insurance, and European cover,
I'd just need to check that it covers both at the same time, IYSWIM.

I've booked the Friday off work, and booked the hotel already.

I'm off to Albufeira for a week this coming Saturday, and I'll see how
the land lies when I come back, 'cos I don't think bookings on the
Eurotunnel are cancellable or that you can modify the Reg. details
    after booking.

Hopefully Zymurgy will have everything sorted by the start of July,
and I can go on the 12R.

I don't think I had to provide vehicle details when I booked my
crossing, beyond stating that it was a motorcycle.

I really appreciate both your and Adie's offer. As I just posted to
Ogden - it's 99% likely I'll be there one way or another.

    :

We did this a few weeks ago. The CIHAGM cover only applies in the UK and
the breakdown cover will be for specific vehicles listed on the insurance
    document.

I've got breakdown cover on it and if it broke down I'd simply tell
you to ride the Yamaha and I'd get the Kawasaki recovered on my
    policy.

Y'know, Chimay would be a very SpazzTrakka sort of event.

I'd take the SpazzTrakka to Chimay, if I owned it.
