We've booked the tunnel for the Thursday evening (17th July) outbound
and the Sunday evening (20th) coming home.

We've also booked in at the Etap at Calais Coquelles for the Thursday
night with the plan being to rock up at the circuit at about lunchtime
    on Friday.

Hopefully getting there on the Friday will mean we can stock up with
essential supplies without having to leave the country as we did last
year. With a bit of luck we'll be able to find plenty of wood and get
a decent fire going ready for the late arrivals.

When I get my arse in gear, I'll probably be travelling on the Thursday or
Friday, and coming back Monday. Laura plans to bring the Platybus, along
with a couple of her laydeez, so we'll have a shopping trolley and bitches
    to cook for us.

    That's good.

Are you going this year or is it way too early for trivial shit like
    planning?

  5. Splendid. I haven't made my own plans yet, but Chimay is not to be
    missed.

Mrs Eddie's coming this year, so we can't leave until she finishes
school on the Friday. We'll be getting the overnight ferry from Hull, so
we should arrive on Saturday morning.

I think we're planning on staying until Monday morning, then heading
south-ish to continue our summer holiday.

  11. I'm very tempted to make some arrangements, as I don't think I attend
nearly enough UKRM 'events'. Working for a living is such a pain.

  12. I'm surprised she's not done her A1 yet. I can't believe your outfit
makes more than 33 horses - she could take her nubile accomplices in
    that!

Your organisation and planning ahead are scaring me. Who are you and
what have you done with Andy?
My planning has consisted of putting a line (in pencil at that) along
the side of Friday 18th to Sunday 20th and writing Chimay next to it.
Didn't we get there on the Friday last time?
Mmmm fire and Belgian beer and old kwak triples and summer camping and
cobbled streets and coffee and more Belgian beer.

A whimsical reference to advancing decrepitude.

"The years go by one after the other; time slips past us without our being
aware of it; we grow old like ordinary men and we shall end like them."

With outfits, it's power-to-weight that counts. But the clutch would be a
bit of a penance. Anyway, the fuglypla can carry a fair amount of gear.

Working for a living is something you do so you can pay to be
    entertained.
