don't bother with throwovers - just cargonet a rucksack to the tail
    unit.

If I could do a 3 week tour of France and Italy on an SZR660, you
could do a bloody weekend in Belgium on an RGV.

Yeah, but a 400/Four has a nice flat pillion seat.

The Monster doesn't, and the S4R has the added inconvenience of those
funny twin high-level exhausts on one side.

I'm thinking Ventura luggage, but it's not cheap.

It'd be a tossup between tailpack or throwovers - the latter makes it
easier to lash a tent and sleeping bag across the pillion perch.

    But we shall see.

true, but it's also very narrow.
    true, true.
I have Ventura kit for the triumph, which I'm thinking of flogging
seperately from the bike and refitting the standard Triumph rack.

There's a Pack Rack, and a Sport Rack and two Aero Packs (older but
equivalent to 1 x Aero Delta + 1 x Aero Spada - these are two separate
bags, but zip together and fit as one to the bike). I think there's
the optional rucksack straps too, but I'd need to check.

Obviously, you'd need to source the side l-rails specific to your bike
(these are about 90 quid, IIRC) but if you're interested in the rest,
make me an offer (including the rucksack straps, it's about £270 quids
    worth new).

I'd need to check whether the Pack Rack and the Sport Rack are the
correct size; I've already got one surplus to requirements that's the
wrong size (purchased before I realised there were different sizes).
I'll check the sizes and get back to you.

Ok, though they seem to be different part numbers, according to their
    website.

I had a feeling it would be, but I'm also after similar for the Elefant,
which is a different size. I think.

TFFT, that makes sense. Must drop her an email.
The trouble with booking anything in school term time is that I simply
don't know that far in advance if I'll have to work.
I've remembered, you and Adie did the Calais run and some of us
stopped in a hotel somewhere whose name I've forgotten
They are one part of the equation, the sum of which was a large smile.

    That's the puppy.
I remember the torrential rain. I missed the speed trap.
Ah I think the above two things may be causing my recollection
    failure.

I can't remember exactly which model of Tiger you've got, but it would
appear that they all take different sizes, and none of them are
compatible with either the Elefant or the Monster. Typical.

We need a PF18/B and a PF12/B (and we'd probably take the matching sport
rack and grab handle, if you've got them).

Oh, and if anyone wants a PF14/B pack rack, or the L-brackets to suit a
ZR-7S, let me know. Plenty bargain, much cheapness!

Not that different to the CBX, then.
    Indeed.
