Neither is exactly what you'd call practical.

I strapped a tailpack and tent to the back of the RGV for the BOSM this
year, so that does have some pedigree as a tourer. Fucking uncomfortable
    though.

Previous experience tells me that if there isn't a bar in the hotel
we're stopping in then there's one next door.

Its attached to the Ibis next door. the walk from the car park
separates the hotel. enter left for our hotel, enter right for the
    Ibis.

we stayed in the Ibis last year so know it has a bar. its also 20 euro
cheaper than the Ibis. for the amount of folks that's staying there
that's a significant donation towards the bar bill.

    He's right you know.

I can still remember the looks on everyone's faces when I returned to
the campsite with a case of beer on the 10R. Sadly it all went
    downhill from there...

At least this year it can start on the Friday evening and you'll be
able to pace yourself over the weekend...

    Naaaah, can't see that happening.

    not bad for a sportsbike.

On the recent french run I managed two crates of beer on the pillion
seat of the tiger, and could probably have got two more on the rack,
    if necessary.

I was thinking of getting to Chimay a day early. I'd grab the best
camping spot but how do I hold on to enough ground? especially as I know
you will all arrive and camp at the other end of the field.
