Ooh. Good thinking. Pillion accomodation looks a little scant.

    <spots XJR1300> A bit more like it.

    A: Budget
B: Two GoldWings in the garage is one too many. (even if they'd fit)
C: Not an *ideal* city commuter bike.

ISTR it was only the Police versions that suffered due to all of the
extra radios, lights and other crap raising the CofG too high.
OTOH the same thing could happen if loaded up with tents & stuff for
    proper touring.

it's got bags or grunt, ideal for the, err, larger couple.
bit long in the tooth, but I can see you on one. Or what about a
    GSX1400?

and the new 1250 Bindat is probably a better and cheaper bike than all

Madam has been pillioned on a 12R.
I rather got the feeling that she was in no rush to repeat the
    experience.

really? Get one of those then - get the SP version if you can.
Everyone should own at least one Yamaha, what with them being the best
    Japanese Marque and all.
Well, Cab had one - make your own mind up.

I have a Busa here at the moment for a new clutch, it's got a Renthal
bar conversion on it - it's bloody comfy.

I've never really "liked" the old one - a shiny new one won't be any
    different, shawly?

The only Yamahas I've ever wanted were a white/red RD400 just after I
passed my test, and one of the original 350LCs, with the swoopy
    stripes.
