Well, looked at analytically, you need something capable of transporting two
fullsized adults about half a dozen miles through London in reasonable
comfort. Needs to be reliable, low maintenance, not too wide, reasonable
    turn of speed.

    290239269819 perhaps? Or perhaps a decent TDM900.

    A mere trifle.

There's a buyer for just about anything on ebay.

What is the wing but an overgrown scooter anyway?

Oy! Mind you, they aren't built anymore, so you'd have to go for a s/h
one if there aren't any left in the shops.

It's not all roses in the heady world of Investment Management, you
    know.
Don't think you're too big to go over my kneee, you young scamp.

What, a 40-something homeowner, probably bought at the bottom of the
market in the 90s, double income, no kids, festooned with shares and
    premium bonds?

Not much of a rebuttal, that.

Between that, the SRAD and the TL, you really have a hard-on for ugly
whale-tailed Suzukis at the moment, don't you?

30,000 in 8 years? I know you have other toys but the zen moment as you
become one with the machine requires more miles doesn't it?

  17. They haven't done badly. Air-cooled and water-cooled two-strokes. R1.
Kickstarted (heh!) the whole big thumper thing. Built probably the best
over-750cc sports-tourer to come out of Japan (the FJ1200). The
five-valve Genesis engine and the downdraught carb idea.

We'll draw a veil over some of their less successful ideas, mind.
