Well went lookin at chook chasers today..

What the **** ever happened to the seats on these things? if your ass
is bigger than 2 slices of bread on end, it would fuckin cut you in
half!

Sat on the Husaberg 501, Bzzzzzzzzzzz too narrow by about 6inches for
my fat arse....

Sat on teh DR400Z, Nice bike, but again, too thin.. yea in the bush
lots o time is on the pegs, not your clacker, but thats just obscene..


Also looked at the VOR401, the kickstarter goes the wrong way
(FORWARD!) **** that.

Already watchign it, but couldnt kick it over, I need elec start..

Had a YZ490 back in 80s new, it was a **** to start...

 

Nothing wrong with mudfairies..

 

But it's got a_comfy_seat!!!_

 

Kick one way to start,other way to stop--makes sense...

I've got a KX500 with a fat seat. Rec rego and all.

 

IF its electric start its a winner, but that would be a dream.. I got
a fucked leg, have about 0% chance of kick startin a bike these days,
well maybe a PW50....

 

Can you use your other leg? When my right knee was bunged up, but I
could eventually bend my leg enough to get it on the footpeg, I would
have to start the bike with my left leg. Worked ok, but embarrasing
when it stalled at intersections etc cause you have to get off the bike
to start it. $200 1986 XT250 + bent inlet valve = intermittent idle.

 

Can you use your other leg?
yea had a Husky, that sucked with the left leg, but I have fucked
stability standing on my right leg alone.. the knee is pretty well
fubar even after 2 reconstruictions.

 

There are some pretty wicked braces out there these days, you know...

 

I think its lack of confidence in the knee, braces, had a few of them
in last few years.. some better than others.

I know for sure what would happen if I had a kick back from an
IT490...

Going to hire a chook for a day, and go riding, see how the body
copes, theres also the issue of the left arm not straighening, tried
it on a DRZ400 yesterday, it didnt 'feel' good when turning.. arms cop
a hiding in the bush...

when I was looking at a KLX250 a few years back I told the dealer I didn't
want to spend bucks on a bike
that I wouldn't like , he offered me the bike for a full day to ride where I
wanted take sat arvo and bring back Monday morning

also when mates and I looked at DR400 and RMX250 dealer had property and
arranged for us to come and have a ride
round his property to check em out
