    But how can a sportsbike that only makes 55bhp, and only in a tiny band
    at the top of the rev range, be so much fun?

    Bit parky out, mind.

    Oh, the SV hasn't been out of the garage all day - despite being more
    powerful, more practical, more comfortable and infinitely more reliable,
    it's my second choice pretty much every time.

    It was an FZR250 that I sold a while ago.

    I've been out on the KTM this afternoon and the combination of cold
    and greasy roads made for some interesting back wheel moments but it
    was worth the effort just to go for a ride.

    Ya. Rather different kettle of fish to an RGV.

    That was the first proper ride I've had since October - blew away a few
    cobwebs. Had to stuff an emergency toolset and a can of Easy Start under
    the seat but luckily it remained unused.
