Is that as great as learning that life is a piece of shit and it just
    gets worse until you die?

This makes me feel really good about being 16st.

On the other hand, I'm fit.

I'd just like to take a moment this Christmas eve to reflect on the
missed opportunities of 2005 - one of which is my sadly remiss
behaviour in forgetting to tell you to **** /right/ off enough.

I bet Santa brings you a piece of coal now.

I've not lost a child as of - but that's the one that'd **** me up big
time. My bro' lost his first born son at 18 months or so, the big ****
up for him, at first, was meeting people who didn't know.

I hadn't noticed you being especially reticent in that department,

It's a matter of scale really I think... I reckon I could have ramped
up an order of magnitude easily if I hadn't been so easily distracted.

Been a funny old year - but a fucking good one eh?
I thought the police had asked you to stop doing that?

True enough - big up to you for your support and help this year by the
way - in case I've forgotten to say it before.

And a big up to Mike and Mu. Especially Mu.
It's ended up as a fucking top year mate. Best of my life so far and
I'm hoping for better things next year.
I bet you can't pat your head and rub your tum tum at the same time.

  12. Ben Sales? If you're 16 stone, I'm a monkey's miscarriage. Unless you've
changed a hell of a lot since we last met.

    Big Dave Guest

    Y'know.
The Japanese have this religion called Shinto (or so I'm told). And that
religion believes that, whenever you speak the name of a dead person out
loud, for the instant you speak their name, the person lives again.

I have this tradition of naming my personal list of "absent friends" (see
elsewhere in this thread) and raising a glass to each, every News Years Eve.

To me its a nice way of remembering, and, for an instant at least, having
those friends around you, once a year.

Half cut - I think I spent a bit of time this year (in the early
summer) pissed as a **** 95% of the time. Sorted now (as you prolly
    know).
More of the same I hope sincerley.
