    armrest and things like that.

Those Ventures are nice bikes but it aint a WING...Dont cut yourself short.
Aint nothing like a wing. Remember, we like riding in sub freezing temps and
you will get more overall protection on a wing. Do the right thing.

Ok..Now the Venture riders can attack..lol

We I got bored here at work today so about 5:00 I decided to run over
to the Honda shop and see what kind of goodies they had in stock. As
luck would have it, all the items that I felt I could afford this week
they had in stock and one I didnt plan to put on the bike but was
advised to by a certain person. I will explain in a minute.

What I did buy that I planned on was the show chrome brand side
fairing accents. Thats the big ole vents on each side of the fairings.
I believe they said they radiators are behind those. I didnt get the
one with the lights, just the plain chrome. I dont care for all those
lights. I think this piece really breaks up the fairings.

I bought the show chrome brand of fairing intake vents. Thats the
holes right in front of the side fairing grills and almost under the
headlights. This chrome piece sticks in that hole and has like a
divider inside. Makes it look really sharp.

I bought the Kuryakan brand key hole protector with a rubber pad built
in for the remote to sit on so it dont scratch the chrome or the tank.

Last but not least and something that I wasnt planning on buying is
the show chrome pieces that goes under the passenger floorboards. They
had them in stock so I went ahead and got them. Those are LOUIES
fault. We were down by the dam on our ride Sunday and we were kinda
talking about chrome that I was planning to buy and what not. He was
trying his best to talk me out of putting any chrome on the bike. He
bent down and folded up my passenger floorboard and asked me if I was
going to chrome the bottom of those. I told him NO. He said..why
not...you cant pick up any pussy unless those are chrome too. So I
bought em. He better be right..Thats 30.00 I could have spent on some
    dash chrome.

The nice folks over here at the Honda shop in Carrollton gave me a 10%
discount even though I didnt buy my bike from them. I tried that over
at them som-bitches at Rockwall Honda and it was a no go. I was
thinking to my self..I should send Bill Walker over there to get them
fellers straightend out. It all worked out ok. All in all I spent
    about 160.00.

Next is the front caliper covers, the bottom cover where the fog light
are, and maybe the chrome that goes around the insturment panel. Then
    the week after that is...........

Alright, I better come out on that Voyager to help haul all them wimenz!

Have u got that stuff on yet? ...
The Baker wings for my Voyager were just delivered. I'll get those on
Thursday when I get my bike back. The shop called today and told me it was
ready. I declined to pick up today or tomorrow account very high winds and
low temps. He said he'd tuck it away for Thursday pickup. I guess we'll have
a Thursday watch the oil drain party over at Grapevine.

I am still sitting here at my desk at work. The chrome parts are in my
truck here in Carrollton. The bike is in storage in Arlington. I think
I will wait till Thursday or Friday to put it all on. Its a little to
cold to be jacking with that motorcycle. I wish it would fit thru my
front door..I would be working on it if I could get it in my
    livingroom.

    Say Redshad,
That did not take long before you turned into a chrome whore. I guess
you will be busy polishing instead of riding. (MorganKane)

I dont know wherethe hail' you could possibly attach one new single
piece of chrome, for that matter, anything else!

Yesterday, I looked at one just like yours at my Honda Store.

Although this one had ''auto pilot''!

Did yours come with that??? If not you might wanna look into that! I
    thought that was amazing.

The salesman told me, the ''auto pilot'' was designed to be used only on
    fairly straight slabs.

What you seem to be forgetting is Louie has a bad taste about them
Wings, remember that'en he borrowed, and how the Fare-ing didnt work
    atall.

How he expereinced an extrordinary amount of air flow, up, over, around
    and under that thang'. ‘member"?

That's probably why Louie's hooked on them Ventures and Voyagers, any
kind, as long as it is spelled with a ''V'',but not no ''G''. he-he,
    Might be?

WTF is, going on, with my redneck posting quoting shit. Actually I
believe it is my old reading eyes.
I got sorta mixed up. I had just got up from my nap, and 'F'd'' up, it
shore looks that away. sorry'bout that. <g>
    Since I know it was Ed, I'll say this;

He is a Yamaha kinda guy, I bet.
He wouldnt look that good on a Wing.

If ya ride a Wing, ya gotta ride wing formation. (chuckle)

Poor ole Bjay is now trying to figure out that red 250cc motorcycle of
mine and how it got converted from a belt drive. He had a bad enough
time trying to figure out the shaft to chain part.

He'll catch up...he and his television are working overtime trying to
    sort this out...

Theres always places on a motorcycle for chrome. How much did they
want for the ones at your Honda Store??

No Auto pilot on mine but I think that Red Honda 250cc that used to be
belt drive might have that on it. Will have to check with the owner
    and see.
