I figure as I have to vote for one of these clowns I should find out
which one(s) support or oppose motorcycle footpath parking in the CBD.

I'm pretty sure the incumbent John So is against it.

Anyone have any info / resources to direct me toward?

AFAIK, footpath parking is legislated by State Government. The only MCC
involvement is to identify and exclusion zones unsuitable for footpath
parking. If you want to maintain the status quo, i'd suggest voting for the
    status quo would achieve that.

AFAIK, footpath parking is legislated by State Government. The only MCC
No that's not true. It's entirely at the discretion of local councils,
which is why City of Melbourne are able to say which footpaths you can
    and cannot park on.

I believe Boorondara were, a couple of years, back talking about banning
    it altogether.

Isn't that just another way of saying what I said?

While it's nice to have pro-bike councillors/politicians in office,
footpath parking is a state issue, under the auspices of Vicroads.
Probably cos he can't pronounce it.....

Anyway, as you've brought this up, I've made enquiries with the MRAA
with respect to this, as to date, there's been no discussions at all
about the elections and bike related issues.

    No.

Unless by "legislated by State Government" you mean "legislated by Local
    Councils".
