Does anyone know what sparkplugs the honda shopmanual recomends for a
    '72 cl350? Thanks.

I don't have the official Honda manual, but my Chilton's "Motorcycle &
    ATV repair manual 1945-85"[1] says:

    NGK B8ES/ND W24ES plugs gapped to 0.028-0.032in/0.7-0.8mm

It's got the other specs like point gap, valve clearances, etc too.

    Valves (in): 0.002in/0.05mm
    Valves (ex): 0.004in/0.10mm
    Point gap: 0.012-0.016in/0.3-0.4mm
Max advance: 27-33deg @ 3000 RPM (incl. initial static advance)
    Idle: 1100 RPM
Pilot screw: 3/4 to 1 turn

    -gc

    [1] "Holy crap! That's a weapon, not a manual! I've seen smaller
    dictionaries!"
"Well, how else are you going to be able to intimidate the bike by
threatening to throw the book at it?"

    Cool. I owned a '72 CB350 and a '72 CB450 but it's more than 25 years ago
that I sold them, yet, on reading quiteclint's query, "B8ES at 30 thousandths"
    came immediately to my mind!

Now, if I could just remember my co-workers' names!
