Gday. My TRX had a bottle of booze smashed on it when someone tried to filch
it. It then spent 5 weeks marinating in said liquor while it was in for
repairs. Now the aluminium frame and motor seems to be thoroughly stained
with big nasty streaks where the booze was. I've tried CT-18, Silvo, spit,
Metho and praying. Any ideas as to how I could get these streaks out ? Ta in
    advance ...

is it coated with lacquer or just alloy ?
if alloy the truck was people do a pink liquid which will totally
refurbish the shine .But you need to apply several times and for my
experience with wheels they do need a green brillo rub as well then a
really good rinse with lots of water .

  3. If it's just alloy, not coated, try CT-12 (it's pink), let it soak for a few
minutes and attack it with a nail brush to get into the texture, then rinse
well with water. If it has a coating it will do nothing. CT12 is meant as
a cleaner for alloy truck bodies. Has worked well on my BMW castings.
