You need to read some unbiased accounts of him. I understand he was a smart
cookie and quite charismatic in person when younger. Shame successors
haven't carried on his goal of deconstructing bloated federal govmint.

But for me he was too old. There should be an age bar. Exactly where it is
placed is probably a function of what age I am when you ask me.

Reagan made the rich richer, the poor poorer, and doubled the federal
deficit in the process.

He was obviously charismatic enough to get elected, but that's got
**** all to do with being bright.

 

Isn't that always the way? The Republicans are obsessed with cutting
taxes but are unable to cut spending to match, so they run a deficit
and increase the national debt. The Democrats, who have no such qualms
about taxes, increase them, run at a surplus and reduce the national
debt. Cue another appearance from the Republicans...

 

It's not bait - it's a statement of how many Reaganites really think.

- fund terrorists
- undermind elected governments
- sell weapons to hostile governments

outcome of his government?
Pretty much all Merkin and British administrations have been shit for
decades, running us down towards the sorry state you find yourself in now.

 

So he had decent principles, but didn't act on any of them? Funny

No, I referred to his stated principals, NOT the conduct of his
administration or success in putting them into practice.

On illegal immigration alone the administration was something of a failure.

People with aspiration and determination tend to make themselves richer.
Worthless lazy fucks tend to make themselves poorer. To a large extent
