A22, heading towards M25: they're taking the hedges out of the central reservation of the Caterham by-pass, presumably to replace them with Armco (it's been an accident black spot because if restricted visibility for years). Anyway, because of the work there's a long queue of traffic. I'm gently beetling down the outside of it, staying *well* out to the offside. People won't pull U-turns when there's oncoming traffic, but if there's a long gap they often think "Fuck it" and twirl the wheel. And Twatty in his Astra estate did just that. No indicators, no nothing, just got tired of sitting in the queue and thought he'd pull a U-ey. I always thought the Trophy's brakes were adequate, no more, but you *can* lock the front wheel. And then he tried to leg it. I wasn't having that, so I did a 180 too, got in front of him, parked up the bike on the road, vented my feelings, and then rummaged in my pannier for my camera. That rattled him, because he drove on the pavement to try and avoid being snapped, but in the morning rush-hour he wasn't going anywhere. I'm thinking of sticking up a web-page composed of shots of Dangerous Twats. Anyone else got any? If not, keep a camera handy and send 'em in. (Oh and thanks to the bloke in his truck who was rather supportive)
