Damm I had forgotton how quick these things go.

Had photo taken with people from Honda, drank coffee,
chatted with others, then rode bike home, it's so tiny compared
to the previous VFR and current Sprint, and lightweight as well.

Damm it's quick, even running it in like the man said I was cruising
at speeds I dont usually do.

I do like it tho, flickable, and what a clutch, the lightest smooothest
    one I have ever felt.

But alas, soon it has to go.

The Blade is not a bike I would use for anything else than weekend
blasts locally, the Sprint I use for work, touring around Europe and
    is more practical.

I do admit tho the smile on my face when bringing it back was there
all the way, and last night when riding around it does do what it
says in the publicity, the electronic steering damper is excellent, probably
gives me more confidence than my ability can cope with.

Month or so...get the 600 mile free service done than it has to go.

Am I missing something? It was free, as you won it, so surely it's
not cost you anything yet except the petrol you put in the tank?

So why not keep it for those weekend blasts to put the smile on your
    face?

It may not have cost him anything, but by not selling it he'd be missing
out on potential income. Either way it'd be money not in the bank.

    Half full vs Half empty.

It's money he wouldn't have had anyway, so why not enjoy it?

I guess he thinks he'll enjoy it more spent on other things than on an
extra bike he'll only use very occasionally. It's not like he's stuck
on some boring old commuter bike the rest of the time anyway.

    is that Blaney's old one?

I mean, there can't be more than one fuckwit in the SE who bought one
    that colour, can there?

It hasn't been ridden properly yet, that was a half day's suspension
set up at Oulton. The big one is at Silverstone on the 31st March.

If you're doing the GP circuit then it'll be a shit day out. Litre
bikes will fly past you doing 40mph more down the straights and even
the biggest clown on a bike can make use of the track width there.

I couldn't give a flying **** if they do. If I wanted to pass
everything in sight I'd go racing. It's a trackday and as long as I
ride to the best of my ability on the bike I have then I'm happy, YMMV.

Anyway, the chances of any litre bikes passing me on that particular
day are slim, it's also been heavily booked by the ZX10R owners club.
My biggest concern will be avoiding trashed bikes in the track at every
    corner.

The last resort of the bloke on a slow bike. Nice to see it used
    again.

Didn't you go grass tracking at Oulton recently?

From what I've seen of the ZX10R owners club at previous trackdays, my
statement isn't that far off reality
Yep, stayed upright and still stayed in front of the 996 that followed
me into the corner, once I got back on tarmac.

Come on Andy, you haven't exactly got the best crash record on here,
you're not really in any position to take the piss.
