    I had a leggy but well looked after early Fazer about three years ago, maybe
    more.

    It was actually an alright bike, if a bit shit on fuel and of course,
    appalling lights. (1)

    Excellent back road scratcher, decent brakes etc.

    Sounds to me like the one you and darsy had the 'pleasure' of was fecked.

    (1) I did tend to cane the tits off it constantly to be fair.
