it took me 3 reads of this to realise you were talking about beer and
not some sort of obscure retraction of your previous criticism of
"Ferris Bueller's Day Off" or something.

But, in other matters, you're right: I do need to start drinking
again. Another "comedy" night out perhaps[1]

[1] did you get the fucking piss-taking "seetickets" email about the
"exclusive offer" about Russell Howards gig, then click through a few
times and realise that including *2* sets of "handling fees" they want
around £30 to see an at best middling waffler at the O2 *next fucking
february*? I had to snooze the computer and go and annoy the cat to
calm myself down after that.

 

Went down a treat. I had a spare, was going to offer it to your mate
with the cumin allergy but he'd vanished. So one of our chaps had a
second and started to regret it within minutes.

 

I'm waiting for the day he tells a joke that doesn't relate to his
childhood and/or his schooldays.
