Conference Call system

Can anyone recommend a good commercial service for setting up worldwide conf
calls, primarily EU and USA, that actually fucking works properly without
costing the earth.

And no Skype is a POS for commercial conf calls that actually matter

 

Why don't you just outsource it to someone like Intercall?

It doesn't use Skype for the conferencing (AFAIK), but Skype clients can
call if they want to - benefit is you get high quality audio if they do.

 

We've only ever had to make one conference call, but used these people
without problem.

I've had a work account with http://www.genesysconferencing.co.uk/ for
a few years, which has worked fine. No idea what it costs as they
bill that kind of stuff centrally.

+1, their web management functions are pretty good as well.

However, we did experience some issues with very high numbers of
participants (many hundreds), and some unexplained noise issues, which I
never found out the cause of, but seemed to coincide with our movement
to VoIP....
