  1. hey there
How can i connect the piston to my connecting rod again.
when i unmounted it i used a hammer to loosen the pin that goes inside the
pison ... i think that is not too good.
does anyone know how i can do it more gently?

  2. Be sure to clean any carburized oil out of the hole in the piston
    before proceeding...

Put the pin in your freezer and get it very cold. Put the piston in
very hot water to make it expand. Hold the hot piston with a rag while
you push the cold piston pin into place...
You can bend the rod by hammering on the piston pin. Some piston pins
are NOT a loose fit in the rod, though this is rare. Some piston pins
are a press fit in the rod and float in the piston instead...

But the usual motorcycle piston pin is a loose sliding fit in the rod
and it gets stuck in the piston....

There are special tools to extract stuck piston pins but you can do it
    with a home made tool...

Obtain a 150mm long hardware store bolt that is threaded all of its
    length.
It should be a 6mm bolt...

Put a large diameter washer on the head end of the bolt, so the head of
the bolt won't pull thru a socket wrench when you tighten it. Push the
bolt through the square drive end of a large socket wrench (about
17mm), and then through the piston pin...

The socket wrench needs to be big enough so the piston pin will slide
    into it...

Put a smaller washer on the other end of the bolt. The smaller washer
has to be able to slide through the hole in the piston. Thread a nut
onto the bolt. When you tighten the nut, the piston pin will be pulled
    through the piston hole...
