Very sorry to hear it, the mortality factor is always a hard one to get
your head around. Why not go do a track day ? You get to have fun in a
    safer environment...

Sorry to hear about your mate.
Still you are in one piece and can still "destroy" the English language.
Get out there and ride and clear the cobwebs.

Corks, surely there is counselling available for PTSD in the police force?
My advice would be to use it. The longer you wait, the more you'll need it.

thanks everyone for their kind words, yeah just been having trouble
maintaining the enthusiasm - hell ive even had the same bike for over
6months - havent bought a bike mag in ages.

still riding and indeed did a 3 dayer down south west last week with a
couple of mates - all very good and nice.

just just wierd mate 1 died in m/c crash mate 2 died of cancer at 39, having
the usual thoughts and doubts on mortality and stuff - allied to my parents
not being very well(77 the pair of them) just causing stuff.

but im cool, thanks again to all

Just remember Shrek, most of those people cop it while travelling in cars.

If it's getting to you, get counselling and talk to your fellow
    officers about it.

I'd go nuts if I *didn't* have the bike...

  15. I guess it's a bit like sex in that respect.

Yeah, Corks, get ya shit together and go see the shrink.

Trouble is though, you should never have sold that Fazer. I'm
regretting having sold mine. From now on it's buying when I can afford
    to and NO selling!!

    Kind regards

So you were not at the netrider coffee night last friday?
I know for a fact you were there and who you are.
Next week I might even photograph your bike and post it for all to see.
I and others know who you are.
