.... The CB seems to have lost its will to idle on the way home. Oi
TOG, didn't you say the carbs are the same as on the CB500T?

Oh, and it's also leaking a bit of oil around the front cover on top
    of the head.

    <chucks line into water>

I think I may need a gasket seen soon...

  2. If it's stopped idling all of a sudden - and it was idling perfectly
before - it's unlikely to be the the carbs unless there's some crap in
the tank that's got into the jets.

Time for a full service methinks.

The Older Gentleman was seen penning the following ode to ... whatever:
    Maybe the case...
Yup. Once I'm back. I got the feeling it would like a proper service
and not just an oil change, so that's what it'll get.

  5. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember Timo Geusch
    And so, the process continues...

Well, given that Timo has actually been riding it, and has prolly
fille dthe tank up , on a bike that may have been standing for some
time, then it's prolly quite likely that some crap has been flushed
    thru.

The difference will be that the crap will lodge in some hitherto unknown
part of the bike (prolly not connected to the fuel system at all) and
break some completely unobtainable part or parts.
