CRF450 Problems

    I am looking to buy a CRF450r does anyone know of problems I should look at
    as I will be buying 2nd hand.

    15 hours racing = piston/rings.

    I thought it was 10 hours..

    Valves tighten up constantly
    Piston and rings , racing 10-15 hours, just tooling around you get a
    "season."
    radiators are easily damaged so check them out.
    front forks wear bushes quickly, ie 2 years and they considerable show wear

    mine had a faulty "black box" from day one and detonated a motor in the
    first week, but that was a one off. Honda fixed it so no problem
