  4. Virus innit.

Seen mention of it on anti virus groups and stuff I have.
If you have been clicking on the links offered (by it) to try and fix it
then you have seriously compromised your system. Seriously enough that
you really should tell the police.

  5. You won't, it is a new exploit. Said to infect machine via dodgy advert
in sidebars at facebook, myspace, google etc. Serious infection rate of
about 1 million machines in a hour and stuff. Personal details, zombies
all the usaual crap associated with criminal scum being allowed to do
exactly what they want without and restraint, which although it sounds
like speculative fiction or the CV of a british prime minister is the
    truff.

  8. I **** off elsewhere. If they can't be arsed to make their stuff
compliant with the top 2 browsers in the world then they don't want my
    business.

<g> I find internet banking so convenient, and my bank (First Direct)
so helpful otherwise that I'm prepared to fire up IE every week just
    for them. Otherwise it's Firefox.

Bank with a financial institution that only uses Solaris, obviously!

There's probably one in Tamil Nadhu that'll be happy to accept your
    business.

    A) Use another bank

    B) Inform them that they are back in the dark ages and should see the
    error of their ways.

FWIW I refused to do online banking with Lloyds until they dropped their
IE on stance, and you will not be suprised to learn I pelted them with
    emails :)

You seem to be confused by the difference between an OS and and a browser,
do you work for his bank ?

I trust you email them a lot about their oversite ?

An interesting one surfaced recently, http://www.spock.com, with any
browser other than IE it reports a "fail", a classic case of not
    understanding the web thingy.

    They do concrete?

I'm sure they do, because not to would be a terrible oversight.
