"Braved" a ride out into hostile territory today on the K12GT, but mindful
Brunstroms bully boys would be out in force I stuck rigorously to all limits
(fuel computer reckons the range is 330 miles at those speeds!!)

The camera vans and individual cars & bikes were all over the place.

However, just by Rhug coffee stop they'd stopped en masse to start pulling
almost everyone that came down the A5 on a bike.

Problem is, the mainstream media seems fully committed to all this
"Speed kills" and "Bikers are evil" bollocks. Nobody in charge of any of
the larger papers seems to have the balls or commitment to put their
neck on the line and make a stand.

It's the same with the environment, everyone knows that the gubbermint
is just milking everyone and using the environment excuse as a giant
cash cow, but every time someone stands up and says so there are a load
of scientists who don't get their grants if they agree, so they all keep
schtum and it goes on and on.

Thing is, where do you start? Media won't help, politicians definately
won't help, and Mr and Mrs Average have been brainwashed anyway.

TBF, I had the roadside 5-minute speed awareness course the other night.
Big shiny BMW station wagon, pleasant older bloke on his own, we chatted
about the finer points of full-throttle overtakes in 40 limits and how he
enjoyed his Gixxer in safe and appropriate conditions. One of Brunstrom's
lot could have had me on the bus.

an NIP because he viewed my riding as inappropriate - on Snorky FFS.

Following discussions with the CPS they withdrew it as they were
unlikely to secure a conviction.
